The Acting Executive Secretary of PURC, Dr. Ishmael Ackah, together with a delegation of Management and staff of the Commission, paid a working visit to the head office of the Volta River Authority (VRA) at the Electro Volta House in Accra. The visit was aimed at officially introducing Dr. Ackah to the Chief Executive of VRA, Mr. Emmanuel Antwi-Darkwa.
The PURC delegation was welcomed by Mr. Antwi-Darkwa and other VRA officials including Dr. (Mrs.) Stella Agyenim-Boateng, Deputy Chief Executive (Services), Ing. Edward Ekow Obeng-Kenzo, Deputy Chief Executive (Energy and Operations), and Mrs. Sena Dornoo, Office of the DCE (Finance).
Both parties formally introduced themselves and exchanged pleasantries. Mr. Antwi-Darkwa and his team assured Dr. Ishmael Ackah of their continuous cooperation and support to the Commission’s regulatory processes. Dr. Ackah on his part, assured Management of VRA about the Commission’s willingness to continuously engage and maintain cordial working relationship with VRA.
