Ing. Emmanuel Fiati holds a BSc. Mechanical Engineering, First Class (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology) and an Executive MBA (Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration). He is also a Chartered Banker (ACIB).

He was the Director for Energy Services and Performance Monitoring at PURC from September 2008 to June 2013 before being appointed to his current position as the Director for Water Services and Performance Monitoring in 2013. Before joining PURC, he worked in various capacities in the Engineering Department of AngloGold Ashanti (Obuasi Mines) Limited for fourteen years.

Ing. Fiati is a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering, the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Ghana), the Chartered Management Institute (UK), and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
