Dr. Hawawu Salifu is a distinguished public sector leader with over a decade of executive experience in procurement, compliance, and debt management. She currently serves as Assistant Commissioner and Head of Debt Management, Compliance and Enforcement at the Ghana Revenue Authority, where she has led strategic initiatives resulting in over GHC12.86 billion in debt recovery. Her leadership has been instrumental in implementing data-driven enforcement strategies, streamlining operational processes, and enhancing voluntary compliance across sectors. 

With a strong foundation in procurement, Dr. Salifu previously served as Head of Procurement for multiple public institutions, where she developed and enforced procurement policies that improved transparency and operational efficiency. She holds a Doctorate in Business Leadership from SBS Swiss Business School in Switzerland, a Master’s in Public Procurement Management from the University of Turin, and has completed extensive professional training in sustainable procurement, public-private partnerships, and project management. Known for her results-oriented approach and collaborative leadership, she brings a wealth of expertise in governance, regulatory oversight, and strategic public sector reform.
