Mr. Emmanuel Sekor is a lawyer by profession. He is an energy sector legal, regulatory and policy expert specializing in electricity, renewables and petroleum. He holds an LLM in Natural Resources and Environmental Law and Policy and has been a member of the Ghana Bar since 1986. He has been active in the energy sector in Ghana and internationally. He is also an expert in the design and operation of regulatory frameworks, institutional building, capacity building, and stakeholder dialogue and has advised extensively on creating enabling environments for energy sector investments in Africa.
Mr. Sekor is currently a Principal Consultant and the energy practice lead at REM Law Consultancy. Prior to joining REM Law in 2009, he worked in the Ministry of Mines and Energy and the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission.
