Mr. Daniel Owusu-Koranteng holds an M.A. in Human Resource Development from the University of Cape Coast (UCC), BSc in Agriculture from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a Diploma in Farm Management and Agricultural Extension from KNUST. He holds Certificate in Project Analysis from Egyptian International Centre for Agriculture (EICA), a Certificate in Workers’ Education from Histadrut, Israel and a Certificate in General Agriculture from Kwadaso Agricultural College.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ghana Dock Labour Company at the Tema Port. He was a member of the Environmental Committee of the UN Global Compact in Ghana and served as a member of the ECOWAS Committee of Experts that prepared the Draft ECOWAS Directive on the harmonisation of policies and guidelines in the mining sector for ECOWAS member states.
He is currently the General Secretary of the Maritime and Dockworkers’ Union and the Executive Director of Wacam.
