Patrick Nyarko holds an MSc. in Strategy & International Business from Aston University (UK), MBA in Oil & Gas Management from Coventry University (UK) and BSc. in Management with Computing from Regent University College (Ghana).

He has over 15 years’ experience in retail, business, corporate banking, and credit risk, having worked as Branch Manager at the Capital Bank between 2016 and 2017, and as the Sales and Relationship Officer at Ghana Commercial Bank from 2018 to 2019. Other experience includes a period with Baobab Energy as Energy Policy Analyst and with Kandifo Institute as Director of Strategy & Policy. He has been a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI UK) & Chartered Risk Analyst (AAFM USA) since 2013.

Patrick was the Director of Corporate Affairs & International Relations at the Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation (GIISDEC). He was counter-party staff chairing the review committee for development of GIISDEC’s Community & Stakeholder Framework in respect of iron ore sites in Sheini in the Northern Region and Opon Mansi in the Western Region.

He is currently the Deputy CEO, Finance and Administration of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC).

Patrick has many years of consulting experience in Energy, Project Management and General Management.
